In the Spirit of Risk It or Regret it! Entrepreneur Jonathan Redmond, current owner of a 60 year old family built “Patented Packaging” and machinery company as well as Redbone Music: Luthiers and Pro-Audio Restoration keeping up the family tradition ( 4th generation of patent holders) with his new patented invention. Modular Audio (™). “My Dad is an inventor, he worked with Oppenheimer on the Manhattan Project. I grew up with machine shop in my blood. Frustrations over the years with the huge size, weight and price of these enormous amplifiers grew on me and later I watched Bose create great sound with small inexpensive pieces of injection molded plastic in their Wave Radios and car sound systems. Now I know there is a big difference between a wave radio and a Marshall Stack but I kept telling myself there has to be a better way to get these enormous sounds without using enough lumber and magnets to build a rail car”. That was over 10 years ago. Finally in 2012 I said “I’m tired of waiting”. Tune in today to hear about his invention and his Kickstarter campaign.
