Random Run In! It started with just liking his shirt… now Chef Marlon Alexander is on the show! His food is SO good people have stolen him away for themselves. (Literally) Chef Marlon was the Former Private Chef For Rod Stewart , Christina Agulera, WillSmith, Former Band Chef for KISS. A famous Royal Family member eating at Hotel Bel Air went into the kitchen there to find out who made the Risotto and basically stole him away his home in a Jet! (Almost like that) Now Living in Westport, Connecticut and sharing his gifts with the rest of the world, Chef Marlon joins the show today at 10:40am eastern.

Paula Jane had 100 Rejections on her extraordinary real life memoir about overcoming obstacles. Obviously that didn’t stop her! She’s on my show today talking about her finally published book, “Bloom Where You are Planted”! Paula is the wife of the man who climbed the corporate ladder to become the President of Mack Trucks Inc. She uprooted her four children and moved many times for his job. All kids need attention, but Paula’s youngest has cystic fibrosis and needed much attention and many treatments along the way more. Paula learned to never sweat the small stuff in between waiting for the other show to drop. She went to college at age 42 and graduated magna cum laude from Emory University. She’s been an airline attendant during the white glove days; a professional ski instructor; an older student; an events planner for The Carter Presidential Center; an editorial producer for CNN Atlanta and NYC; all while relocating residences often; raising four daughters-one with special needs; volunteering for everything from PTA, Girl Scouts, Church, little league; caring for her dying sister for six years; escorting her executive husband to exotic global conferences. People kept telling her “write a book.” but all writers need the elusive quiet block of time which is hard to come by. Paula found the time in a hospital room at NY Presbyterian Hospital when her husband, had to be “Bubble Boy” post stem cell transplant for treatment of multiple myeloma, a fatal blood disease. She’s quite a force. She’s on with me at 10:40am eastern today.
