People are shaving their heads today for a good cause. St Baldrick’s Foundation – Helps Conquer Childhood Cancers. Gal pal Alita Freidman is one of the volunteers supporting Candlelighter’s NYC 10th Annual St. Baldrick’s Shave Head Event at the Central Park Boathouse to raise funds for Childhood Cancer Research. The event is today. So, maybe you want to shave your head or know someone who would? They have over 75 shavees and can always use more! Last year Alita helped shave, (see pic). All in support of the kids/families dealing with these horrible cancers. Remember, KIDS CAN’T FIGHT CANCER ALONE!
Alita says, A donation of ANY size is greatly appreciated. She personally lost 3 amazing kids this year that she was very close to and will never ever forget them.
