PwC Digital IQ Survey Says: When It Comes To Technology Most Organizations Are Not Ready for what comes next?and after that, and after that?as technologies continue to combine and advance, and new ways of doing business go from inception to disruption seemingly overnight. Businesses are running in place and in roughly the same spot they were 10 years ago when It comes to digital and tech investment !
Digital IQ is the rough measurement of an organization’s abilities to harness and profit from technology. PwC Digital IQ survey has been asking executives to self-assess their own scores for the last 10 years. Tom Puthiyamadam, the Principal and Global Digital Services Leader for PwC, joins me at 10:40am today to discusses highlights of the survey and shares unique insights into:
-What type of technology is being invested in the most
-Which technology feels most disruptive to executives and might be cause for concern.
-What is expected of technology in terms of its capacity to drive change and elevate the bottom line, as well as PwC’s insights into what the goal of technology adoption should be .
-The people skills necessary to capitalize on digital investments, and what it takes to construct a culture of innovation and digital acumen
BTW The definition of digital has changed. It used to mean IT;
now it includes a company’s holistic view of technology, including emerging tech and its impact on all parts of the business, including customer & employee experience, culture and forward-thinking offerings.
