Keeping the “LIVE” in Alive! — Wellness Wednesday
Every week I meet someone who’s helping us all Keep the “LIVE” in Alive!
This week, I met a guy who made me realize I may be seriously behind.

Tony Medrano is 55 years old, training for his FOURTH Ironman triathlon — and apparently works out four, five, sometimes SEVEN OR EIGHT HOURS A DAY.
I had one immediate thought:
Tony, you’re making me feel horrible about myself. LOL.
But that’s not actually why I invited him on the show.
Tony is the CEO and co-founder of LongevityPlan.AI, and what really got my attention was something I’d never heard of before:

Yes. A digital version of YOU.
The concept is that your personal health information — things like lab work, genetics, DEXA scans, VO2 max, wearable data, supplements and health goals — can help create a digital representation of you.
Why?
So you can learn more about how different wellness strategies might affect you before experimenting on your actual body.
As Tony put it:
“Why not do it digitally first?”
Now THAT got my attention.

Especially because I keep hearing more and more about peptides, biohacking, longevity treatments and all kinds of things people are trying in the quest to feel younger, stronger and better.
And some of it sounds fascinating.
Some of it also makes me think: Who the heck knows what they’re doing?

Tony himself stressed an important point: people interested in peptides should learn about them, consult their own doctor who knows their medical history, and proceed from there.
The NFL Connection Made Me Go… “Wait, WHAT?”
Tony told me he first became fascinated with digital-twin technology while working with the NFL, where he says the concept was being used to help protect valuable players from injury.
His thought was basically:
Why should professional athletes be the only ones who get this kind of technology?
He wanted to bring the concept to regular people, too.
And that led to what I thought was the most important message of our conversation.

Tony said:
“When people are engaged in their health, there is a cascading effect of positive outcomes.”
I LOVE THAT.
Because underneath all the AI, digital twins, peptides and futuristic stuff is a very simple idea:
Pay Attention to Your Health BEFORE Something Goes Wrong.
Tony admits that for years as a busy tech executive, he wasn’t particularly engaged with his own health.

Now?
He says his energy is through the roof, he feels better, looks better, performs better at work — and has discovered that being active has actually expanded his social life.
Apparently, the daytime workout people are a pretty good crowd.
I asked him if they were nicer.

Tony said:
“They’re nicer, they’re prettier, they’re safer.”
LOL.
Okay Tony. Point taken.
So maybe I don’t need to start training for a 140-mile Ironman tomorrow.
But I probably should get on the bike.
And maybe that’s the real Wellness Wednesday takeaway:
You don’t have to become obsessed with longevity.
You don’t have to try every new wellness trend.
And you certainly don’t have to work out eight hours a day.

But becoming a little more curious, a little more informed and a little more involved in your own health?
That might be one of the smartest investments you can make in keeping the LIVE in alive.

And Tony?
We’re done here and you can get back on the bike pal.
But just know that you’re making the rest of us look bad. LOL.

And now, back to the Debbie Nigro Show. I don’t know what’s the matter with me. Maybe I need a digital twin to tell me. Hi, everybody, I’m Debbie Nigro. Funny, I always wanted to be a twin growing up, I really did trouble with angels, these movies I used to watch. I’m like, oh my gosh, I wish I had a twin. Well, maybe now I can. So, welcome to Wellness Wednesday, Keeping the Live Alive! That’s the show I do once a week to help us all do better while we’re here on this planet. And I met this nice guy, Tony Medrano, on LinkedIn, and we started going back and forth.
00:51
I’m like, I gotta know more about the digital twin. Let me tell you a little bit about Tony, because he’s not average at all. In fact, he’s training for his fourth Ironman triathlon. Okay, better human than me, obviously. He’s a CEO and co founder of what’s called longevityplanai your digital twin for performance and longevity. And it’s all about peptides and stuff that I need to know more about. He’s a three time tech startup CEO and co founder. He’s had some successful exits. He’s got a big brain, Harvard, Columbia, Stanford, JD, MBA. And well, I am honored to have Tony join me. Hey, Tony. Hey Debbie, it’s great to be here. I know you stopped training for one minute to talk to me because you obviously have to train 24 hours even while you sleep to do what you do. But thank you. Hi. I actually did.
01:45
I just got off the bike right now, putting in a couple hours this morning before work. You put a couple hours, wait, on a bike already? Yeah. Yeah. I’m training four or five, sometimes seven or eight hours a day. The Ironman races 140 miles, takes me about 16 hours, Olympic athletes about eight. So, yeah, I got to get used to a lot cardio. All right. Now, you’re making me feel horrible about myself. Okay, horrible. Okay. May I ask how old you are and do you reveal that information? Sure. I am 55 years old and I didn’t start running triathlons until I was 48. Well, that’s impressive. And that leads into what you are doing and why you’re on this show. Longevity plan, as I have read on your website is a physician supervised peptide and wellness membership for high agency adults who treat health as their most valuable compounding asset. Well, again, making me feel horrible, but tell me, what do you mean by high agency adults? Explain that first of all. Yeah, our best fit is with adults, usually over 40, that want to take action. They’re usually business people that view their health as another project that they want to tackle.
03:04
And win it. So they’re aggressive. They want to learn about the newest science and they want to implement it and do it. Whether that’s nutrition, how to sleep better, how to work out better. You know, there’s serious people I went to school with at Columbia and, you know, Stanford, Harvard or worked with in tech industry. But now they’ve realized that they need to tackle their health too because it’s not going to help itself. Wow. I need to get on your train, okay? Because I think you figured something out here. I need you to tell me about the digital twin because when I was reading all about your company and you, that’s the thing that jumped out at me. Explain that. Yeah. Sure, sure. Well, on lunch. Sure, sure. Well on longevityplanai we sell peptides, research peptides that are nonsupervised and medically guided, supervised or FDA approved peptides. So consumers have their choice. We realize that biohackers are people that are most interested in trying peptides. They’re new, innovative, you know, they work and they’ve been used for decades by millions of people, you know, some of them. Others are kind of experimental. So there’s all different areas, but the digital twin does is it allows biohackers to biohack themselves digitally with AI completely safely and free instead of sticking needles in them and biohacking themselves.
04:29
You know, it could be dangerous, definitely cost some money and takes some time. So, why not do it digitally first? Yes. This is what the NFL does. Yes. And that’s where I learned it from when I worked for the NFL. All right. Stop the NFL National Football League? Yeah. Okay. I didn’t know about that. That thought I need to understand what you mean by your AI digital twin gets it first so you test out different peptide strengths or versions or Combinations on a AI version of yourself so that you don’t make any mistakes on your own body. Am I getting that? Yeah, yeah, exactly and and Can even take a genetic one can even take a genetic test yeah upload that to the digital twin and the genetic test will tell you which peptides will work for you your genes individually Debbie. Well let me tell you why that’s fascinating to me I’m a person who has not tried any peptides but everybody I know has or is or they’re experts or they’re being BS’d or they got the wrong ones and I have I’ve laid off that because I am a cancer survivor, twotime cancer survivor, and I wanted to be very careful not to cause more problems, right?
05:38
For cancer survivors, let’s just ask the question, not just me, but for everybody, is doing this the safest way to know how or whether peptides Be beneficial for you? Absolutely. So first, you know, a user should, you know, somebody interested in peptides should learn about them, consult with their own doctor who knows their own medical history, and work from there. But you can experiment digitally for free and 100 safe, so why not do that in your own learning process? That’s why we offer it, so people can be engaged in their health a little more. It’s perfect for cancer survivors because they’re justified in being a little hesitant about peptides. Yeah, I’m maybe okay, some maybe not. So you want to know. Yes. Take a risk. Now, I have taken a genetic test just because that’s me, but other people most likely have not. What would they upload? A recent, like, doctor’s blood test results? Yeah, you can upload your lab work, your DEXA scan, your VO2 max, connect with your wearable via API. All that information goes to feed your digital twin and makes it you, a representation of you. You upload your peptides that you’re taking put in your supplements and put in your health goals most importantly what do you want to achieve?
06:53
Are you looking for weight loss more endurance or strength more longevity more beauty and the digital twin will help you achieve that this is a Revolutionary as far as as anybody else doing this. Oh there’s some people talking about it, but it’s mostly theoretical I mean, I learned it from the NFL in 2020. They use the digital twin twin to protect their players from injury there’s a lot of money at stake to make sure you know their players stay in the game season after season and into the playoffs too. Wow. But I wanted to do it more cheaply so us regular people could use something like that to protect ourselves.
07:29
So this is for regular people? Exactly. Exactly. All right. This is very, very interesting. Your background played right into this. You know, you’ve had category defining technology companies and you’re over there already doing Ironman triathlons, your fourth one, you’re still alive and look amazing and 55, you must know something. A lot of elite medical and performance brains weighed in on this. So you had a big simple lesson you wanted to Share with everybody and I was reading it but why don’t you share it, what you’ve learned. Yeah, I mean there’s so many things I’ve learned but probably the most is that when people are engaged in their health there is a cascading effect of positive outcomes that some can be expected, some cannot be expected but they’re all good. And I’ve gone through this myself for decades As a tech executive, I really wasn’t engaged in my own health. I didn’t get my lab work done. I didn’t try to optimize fitness or cardiovascular. And now that I am, oh my gosh, my energy’s through the roof. I look better, I feel better, I perform better at work. And it’s largely free. It’s wonderful. I learn and I do things.
08:48
And for example, on peptides, I save money not drinking off it alcohol because I don’t crave it anymore. It doesn’t taste good. And not eating junk food because I don’t crave that either. What do you do with all your free time having not. Oh, you’re working out. Got it. Yeah, working out. That’s great. That’s right. That’s a perfect example. How does this affect your socializing? My socializing is wonderful. I meet more people working out than ever before because I’m outside interacting. They’re like healthy, fun people. And I meet daytime people. I don’t meet people at night at a bar. It’s wonderful. Are they nicer daytime people? What do you notice? Yeah, they’re nicer, they’re prettier, they’re safer. Hey, tell me about the Operation CEO documentary. Yeah, yeah, I was just putting the finishing touches on that last week. It’s about ready to go. So, another two weeks and the documentary will be launched. This is about my story growing up and as a military veteran giving back to the community. And then how that transitioned into a longevity plan, AI. It’s a really neat story. I’m a proud veteran and love helping veterans. We even have rolled out a veterans discount.
10:03
For our peptides just to help injured veterans repair themselves. Well I’m a big fan of the technology. Thank you for serving, former US Naval officer. I have a lot of friends who are former naval officers and I am very passionate about helping veterans and disabled veterans for sure. We’ll talk more about that offline. But tell me about how somebody would work with a longevity plan AI. This is your business, correct? Yeah, I am the ownerfounder They would just go on the website. And founder. There’s really three things that people do. One, they go to our well built out education and research section where I personally write articles every week that are meta analyses of clinical studies and scientific journals with practical applications about how to lose weight, how to recover from injury, how to make your mitochondria better, how to look more beautiful. But it’s real science.
10:54
That’s one, the education route. They can go the research route, which is research use only peptides, if they want to look at that from a research perspective. Take it at your own risk. It’s your research. These are, for the most part, not FDA approved. Or they can go the FDA approved, medically supervised, prescribed by US physicians peptide route and get those peptides for their own therapeutic use as prescribed by an American doctor and delivered to their doorstep. All of that’s brought in with AI, so they can use the AI platform, their digital twin, for free and biohack themselves. So any one of those paths, come on and check it out for free. You really can put all that in for free? What do you do with people’s data once they put it up there? Because that’s kind of heavy information to have about everybody. So one of the primary aspects of the digital twin is it’s your personal data lake.
11:53
It’s really a bucket of your data, wearables, labs, genetics, it’s all Safe and we don’t train other models on it or use it for anything. It’s designed to be your tool. Okay, so people can feel safe putting up their information. You know, privacy is a huge problem this world we live in. Okay, double checking, double checking. And then there’s a membership and you have to become a member? How does this work? Can you just buy it once or you have to stick with the program? What is this? With a single peptide purchase, anyone will get 12 months free of the digital twin. So yeah, buy a trial peptide, try the digital Twin and tell us what you think. If you have a special use case, if you’re a public servant and I’m speaking to the audience here, just send me a note. We have a scholarship program where we’ll give you a deep discount and a free Digital Twin.
12:50
You know we’d like to support teaching like to support teachers, first responders, you know, military veterans, those type of folks. It’s so nice that you took the time to come to this show, Tony Medrano. You’re one of the more interesting people I’ve met recently, and thank you for contacting me. I’ll share the message, of course, further when we make this, we extract this interview and make it into a podcast and put it out into the land of social media. But how do people find you? Longevityplanai or LinkedIn. I’ll respond to every message. So have fun, New York. You’re great. I’m glad we connected. Have a great day. You too, Debbie. Okay, get back on the bike. I got to get on a bike. This guy made me feel horrible about myself. I am so behind Tony Medrano. All right. I’m Debbie Nagro. This is the Keeping the Live in Alive! show I do once a week here on Wellness Wednesday on WGCH AM 1490 and WGCHcom You can listen live from anywhere.
