Wanted: ‘Role Models’ in The Following Categories Below To Walk The Runway With Children Fighting Pediatric Cancer.
‘Fashion Funds The Cure’ Returns to ‘The Westchester’ in White Plains, NY on Saturday June 4th.
One Of the highlights of this amazing event fundraiser for The #NationalPediatricCancerFoundation is when the kids fighting cancer get to walk the runway with a role model of their dream job of what they want to be when they grow up.
If you fit one of the categories below and would feel great about walking the runaway with one of the kids and making their day let us know. You’ll also be helping ‘Fashion Funds The Cur’e For Pediatric Cancer.
Dawn Talbot Zachman, Chief Programs and Operations Officer of the NPCF, says the kids and The National Pediatric Foundation need you. Dawn’s direct email is below.
The kids role model for what they want to be when they grow up include:
Princess
Pianist
Disney Belle
Veterinarian
Race Car Driver
Sports Manager or Sports Lawyer
Entrepreneur
Wonder Woman
Chef
Great upbeat podcast conversation with Dawn who I’m always glad to help spread the word when she asks – about helping raise funds to find a cure and funds to develop drugs like chemotherapy for ‘kids bodies’. Right now most kids with pediatric cancer are getting drugs created for adults for their small bodies and most have problems later in life as a result of that. Hopefully very soon that won’t be the case anymore.
If you can’t participate please stop by The Westchester in White Plains on June 4th or donate online.
