Have You Ever Performed A Random Act of Kindness? Would be so great if you would share a comment or two about what you’ve done that might inspire others to do the same. Being kind is not hard. It matters. It makes people smile. I’m ‘all in’ on doing my part to make the world a kinder place. ‘Random Acts of Kindness’ have always been my secret thing. I perform them often.
I’m convinced ‘what goes around comes around’.
I always extend compliments to random strangers. I’ve randomly paid for candy for little kids I’ve seen come up short at a counter. I help carry stuff for older people. I once gave a fur vest off my back to a senior who admired it and said she always wished she could afford one. On a vacation once I took brand new sandals off my feet to give to a young hard working girl who was dazzled by them. And on and on. Geezus it makes me smile.
So today on WORLD KINDNESS DAY 2018 I ask you all to perform one Random Act of Kindness. Could be anything. You’ll be part of the worldwide celebration of kindness held every November 13th. Today people around the world will attempt to make the world a better place by celebrating and promoting good deeds and pledging acts of kindness, either as individuals or as organizations.
For The Record: World Kindness Day was first launched in 1998 by The World Kindness Movement, an organization formed at a 1997 Tokyo conference of like-minded kindness organizations from around the world. There are currently over 28 nations involved in The World Kindness Movement which is not affiliated with any religion or political movement. The mission of the World Kindness Movement and World Kindness Day is to create a kinder world by inspiring individuals and nations towards greater kindness.

What if everything you owned and had worked so many years to obtain went up in flames without warning? Thats IS what’s going on in California says Producer Pal Paul Lambert who lives out there. He’s calling the show today at 10:20am EST to share he was in LA on business when the fire hit, and swept fast catching everyone by surprise. He just flew back over it all to San Francisco.
2 Fires Are Still Going: Southern California (Calabasas all the way over to Malibu). Northern California — North of Sacramento in the Chico area. Paul says the devastation is unimaginable. Panic, Emotional Distress, and disruption. 42 Dead. Many more missing and unaccounted for. 7000 homes and structures burned to the ground . Over 100,000 evacuated. It is painful to even type this. Praying for those in the middle of all this.
