It’s Been Said You Don’t Know Until You Know.
We all have different experiences in life and we all learn lessons along the way. It’s our duty to pass along those lessons to others.
In an ongoing series, Paraco Gas Corporation CEO Joe Armentano a second generation family business owner, is sharing some sage lessons in business and life that he’s learned over the last 40 years after taking over the family business from his Dad.
Joe’s upcoming book ‘A Helluva Ride’ – “How A Father-Son Family Business Overcame Crisis To Achieve The American Dream ” has been 14 years in the making. Some of what’s inside came from taped recordings Joe made of conversations with his father Pat, a son of Italian immigrants, when he was alive, as well as taped conversations Joe had with 18 others who were close to the family business.
Joe talks about his fathers entrepreneurial journey, what he learned from him, and what he’s learned about business, life, and people, since taking over the reins of the family business, Paraco Gas Corporation, which he’s helped grow to over 400 employees and over 150 Million in annual sales making it one of the largest propane companies in the US.
Joe Armentanos’ Top Ten Life Lessons are good ones and they’re in his upcoming book – but we do a quick sneak peak run through of the whole list in our warm conversation here.
Which of the Top Ten is THE most valuable lesson Joe has learned about life along his journey?
“Time Is The Most Important Asset We Have And Once Gone You Cannot Get It Back”
A portion of the proceeds from A Helluva Ride will be going to The Boys and Girls Club of America, an organization close to Joe’s heart.
