You’ll be blown away with what treasures and furniture you can find at Habitat For Humanity’s ReStore on Main Street in New Rochelle, NY. How about the entire set of the Oscar nominated film, “Bridge of Spies,” starring Tom Hanks? (see pics below). There’s stuff like the entire contents from a torn down house in New Canaan, rugs, couches, cabinets, paintings, ‘bric a brac’ you name it! I popped in and ran into the amazing James Killoran, Habitat for Humanity’s Executive Director who continuously stocks the store with donated items, raises $ by selling to the public like a thrift store would, and then all the donations and any $ from purchases made, go directly to helping families get the simple, safe, decent homes they deserve. WIN WIN WIN WIN .
Just AMAZING!
You’ve got to stop by. Jim’s stopping by my show today to promote Earth Day. The Habitat For Humanity ‘ReStore’ is the greenest store in New York State!
