Dove Morgan Schmidt hosts 300 children every year at her ‘Crossroads Ranch’ that are from the streets, projects and many have parents in prison. At the ranch she teaches them work ethics, positive life styles and good choices all in an old west setting, as they get to ride horses, drive a draft horse and learn about the old west. She also happens to be Ms. Oklahoma Senior America. She’s also written several books, including ‘A Bear and A Dove’, which is one of the ‘most stolen books’ in the prisons, as she has donated over 35,000 copies nationwide, and continue to speak in prisons. She Dove was raised on a ranch and loves to do cowboy poetry whenever she’s asked, and she hosts her state wide event each year in Oklahoma. She’s on the show today live from Oklahoma.
