What Are The Chances? A Strange Set of Coincidences And Connections From NY To Vegas To Boca Raton Fla. Has Led To Entrepreneur Steven Danza being in studio with me today. Steven recently bought the Boca Lago Country Club In Boca Raton Fla. and today’s the final completion of a 10M major renovation there which includes a new golf course, club house etc. He’s very excited. Steven wanted to woo a WOW New Years Eve act for his 2019 Grand Kickoff. His gal Leslie said. “You’ve got get The Bronx Wanderers”. Steven, who’s from the Bronx himself, never heard of them, even though they’re killing it in Las Vegas at Bally’s Las Vegas and just won Best New Show. Steven booked them anyway, and they will be rocking in Boca for New Years Eve. Today Live on the show, I’m going to introduce Steven Danza from NY To Vinny Adinolfi of The Bronx Wanderers In Las Vegas for the first time. How do I know them both? The back story is below LOL. Fun show today. Tune In 10:06 am EST The Debbie Nigro Show 1490 WGCH

The Back Story:
Las Vegas: A year and a half ago I went to Las Vegas to meet up with Aunt Linda to celebrate my birthday. She got us tickets to Menopause The Musical. A riot! We danced the finale on stage with the cast. (no big surprise as we share the ‘fun’ gene). Afterwards we bonded with the Producers Kathi Glist and Alan Glist (Partners along with Kenneth Greenblatt and Seth Greenleaf of GFour Productions) who invited us to their other show in town The Bronx Wanderers. Aunt Linda and I both ended up singing with star ‘Yo Vinny” Vinny Adinolfi during the show. (That darn Nigro fun gene won’t quit) ). I went back to Vegas this year and loved The Bronx Wanderers so much I saw them again (and sang with Vinny again). I’ve showcased Vinny on my show before because his talent and and that of his group and his story are amazing! We’ve bonded.

Back to Boca:
After a lifetime in NY Aunt Linda moves to Boca Lago in Boca Raton Fla. She heard someone from NY was buying the Club there. She becomes friends with new owner Steven Danza. She hears he’s considering The Bronx Wanderers for New Years and says you gotta get them and doubles up on getting him connected to get them booked.

Back to NY:
Steven Danza went to an all boys school in New Rochelle, NY called Iona. Aunt Linda said he knew my late brothers from there. I went to the sister all girl school in town. Aunt Linda introduces me to Steven and while on the phone Steven says, Debbie – I can’t believe you don’t remember me from 4000 years ago? LOL. I said, I can’t believe you don’t know about The Bronx Wanderers? They are AMAZING and I cannot believe they’re leaving Las Vegas to launch 2019 at your new club in Boca! And so today’s show came about.

Back To Vegas:
The Bronx Wanderers who have been playing to sellout audiences in Las Vegas will be the featured musical act at Boca Lago Country Club’s New Year’s Eve Gala on Monday, December 31. The Gala includes hors d’oeuvres, open bar, a three-course dinner and is open to club members and the public.

“The Bronx Wanderers are a tight, melodic rock band of black leather jacket-type guys whose million dollar smiles quickly explode the tough guy persona,” wrote Sam Wagmeister in a review for The Vegas Voice. “Each talented band member is a showman in their own right and has an opportunity to exhibit their exceptional talents in solos and songs.”

The New Year’s Eve Gala, which is open to members and outside guests, will begin at 7:45 p.m. with dinner and opening entertainment from Heather Parcells, who has appeared in six Broadway shows.

Tickets are $175 plus tax per person and available by calling Boca Lago Country Club at (561) 482-5000 or sending an email to BocaLagoCountryClub@EventSmart.com.
Overnight accommodations and packages are available at the nearby Hilton Boca Raton Suites.

Feels Like He Should Be My Cousin Vinny. Vinny Adinolfi “Yo Vinny” of The Bronx Wanderers joins the show today live from Las Vegas so I can introduce him to Steven Danza whose Boca Lago Country Club he’ll be appearing at New Years Eve. Vinny and his kids and their high school pals make up the group that have hit it big in Las Vegas! In only 2 years at Bally’s Las Vegas, the show has been voted #9 out of 180 Shows Vinny calls it ‘a lucky rags to riches story. I can assure you when you see them perform for yourself – it was destiny. Vinny is so warm and TALENTED! A record producer most of his life, and family man, he finally went for his dream, and took his family along. Nothing is more inspiring and exciting than watching him nail it on stage at the age 60, while telling family and music back stories of how he got there. When it comes to music and life Vinny has learned… ‘You can’t stop good!
Catch him and see great stories on the show today at 10:35am EST.
