If you ask me this is a very good time in the world to lose yourself in a cannoli, a pie, some cookies or macaroons, or better yet, a dozen of each. (Thank God for Lycra)

Two cool girls who graduated from The Culinary Institute, and spent their careers in the kitchens and dining rooms in and around New York City are my guests today. They both worked for notable names like NoHo Hospitality Group and Jean-Georges before they lost their jobs because of Covid. Depressing for sure, but Danielle Burzesi & Marielle Martin got their guts up to risk a new joint venture/ adventure.

The gals are friends, chefs and now co-owners of Cannoli’s Kitchen where their combined 16 years of pastry and hospitality experience can be delivered to your door.  I invited them to join me for a feature interview today to showcase yet another example of how people are finding new ways in the new normal to use their skills to earn.

I love the girls who ‘risk it’ so I also want to lend some inspiration. Go Get Em Girls!

(but don’t forget to leave the cannoli)
