In November 2014, Briana Gardell entered the Eureka Venture Competition Series at Lehigh University and ended up winning the grand prize! She invented “Goblies”, hand thrown paintballs, while she was in the Technical Entrepreneurship Masters of Engineering program. It took her 26 iterations to get to the first “working” prototype. Mezzimatic LLC is the name of her company. In her Kickstarter campaign which you can check out below, you’ll see that Briana wore her Goblies splatted dress to her graduation from Lehigh University in May 2015.
All her suppliers and manufacturers are based in the United States and she’s been working with them for months. The final molds for the kit have been tested and a small batch is in production. Production for materials packaging is in place. All she needs is your support and she can press go on material packaging production. She’ll be on the air today.
