‘Girls Love Mail’ is the charity that gives out hand-written letters of encouragement to women newly diagnosed with breast cancer has reached a landmark of 100,000 letters sent out says Founder Gina L. Mulligan. Gina an award-winning author and Breast Cancer Survivor also just completed a new gift book, “Dear Friend: Letters of Encouragement, Humor, and Love for Women with Breast Cancer”. A beautiful collection of 100 special letters selected to inspire and heal even more women with kind words. Gina’s inspiration? , During her own battle with Breast Cancer in 2009, she received over 200 letter from friends of friends; strangers. The letters were so healing that she started ‘Girls Love Mail’ as a way to make sure other women were helped by this special form of care.” In addition to numerous blogs, local television and radio, and print, Gina has appeared on NBC Nightly News, The Steve Harvey Show, People.com, Today.com, Woman’s Day Magazine and more.
