Wellness Wednesday! 10,000 Beds Grants Scholarships For Those Who Need Treatment For Addiction. An AMAZING woman named Jean Krisle, is the Founder & CEO of 10.000 Beds, Inc. She joins us live from Utah today at 10:20am eastern. The 501c3 nonprofit organization Ten Thousand Beds, Inc. was born out of an awareness of empty beds in treatment centers throughout the United States, while at the same time people without resources wanting and needing addiction treatment. Jean Krisle knew this was an equation that needed to be solved. At 10,000 Beds their mission is recovery. They are #ontheroad4recovery to elevate awareness and change perceptions of recovery. “We envision a world where individuals in recovery from a substance use disorder are not sidelined because of their past, but welcomed, embraced and included as valuable, lovable people with limitless futures.

After awarding more than $1,000,000 in treatment scholarships in 2016, 10,000 Beds is expecting to more than double this in 2017. With applications increasing dramatically, they are continuously reviewing applications and reaching out to their partner treatment programs.

The 10,000 Beds Scholarship Program might be a good fit for you if you meet the following criteria:
? you are in need of treatment for addiction,
? you want to get better,
? you are ready to commit to a minimum of 30 days residential treatment,
? you have insufficient resources to cover treatment costs,
? you have exhausted other avenues of support such as family, friends, church,
? you believe you might qualify for a 10,000 Beds Scholarship.
